FARMHOUSE DE HOEVE B&B/aPARTMENT

Firstly......a bit about us and Farmhouse De Hoeve

Bob Koster (Dutch) and Wendy Hammick (British) met each other in Thailand whilst backpacking around Asia and moved to Tonden 18 years ago. The farmhouse is on the edge of this small rambling hamlet. Tonden is situated between Zutphen, Voorst, Eerbeek and Brummen and is on the edge of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Zutphen, by the way, is twinned with Shrewsbury in Shropshire.

The Kosters have totally renovated the house to a high standard. Many reclamation yards were visited where a fireplace, sanitary ware and floors to name a few things were found . The interior walls are made from cob (sand, clay and straw) which gives the house a warm and authentic atmosphere.

Since the children have flown the nest, Bob and Wendy decided to change de voorhuis ( front of the house) into this sizeable cosy b&b/apartment which sleeps 4 people.

But enough about us and Farmhouse De Hoeve, take a look at the b&b/apartment page to find out more.

Wendy would just like to mention that breakfast is not included but for an extra €18 she would be quite happy to provide a delicious breakfast for you but because you have your own super private kitchen and in order to give you more privacy she will make sure that the fridge and kitchen is stocked up with everything you need each evening so that you can make your own breakfast at the time you want.

If need be it is of course possible to use the washing machine.
